Product OverviewWhat is Danpla PP Sheet?
Danpla — also known as PP corrugated sheet, twin-wall plastic sheet or corflute/coroplast — is a hollow-core plastic sheet with a fluted wave structure between two flat surface layers. This construction delivers high rigidity with low weight, making it a durable, sustainable carton replacement for manufacturing, packaging, advertising and construction.
SAM's Danpla sheets are extruded from 100% virgin PP pellets: waterproof, electrically insulating, mildly chemical-resistant and reusable for hundreds of cycles. Available in 2–10mm thickness, up to 1200mm width and 20+ colors — from protective liners and precision dividers to printed advertising boards. Key advantages:
- 100% Virgin PP — colour-fast, flexible, safe and free of recycled contaminants.
- Strong, light, load-bearing — hollow structure delivers high rigidity at low weight, cutting freight costs.
- Waterproof & chemical-resistant — easy to clean, suitable for cold storage and humid environments.
- Reusable — far longer life than carton, lowering long-term packaging cost.
- Easy to fabricate & print — cutting, scoring, folding, offset/UV printing to design.
- ESD option available — anti-static for electronics and sensitive components.
To complete a packaging solution, Danpla sheet is commonly fabricated into Danpla boxes & partitions to drawing, combined with EVA & PE foam cushioning inside and labels & decals with barcode/QR traceability — a complete industrial packaging set from a single manufacturer.

Selection GuideChoosing Danpla Sheet Thickness & Weight
Thickness and weight (g/m²) determine the rigidity, load capacity and cost of a Danpla sheet. The table below helps you quickly pick the right spec for your purpose — SAM's engineers then advise precisely based on your real load and conditions:
| Thickness | Weight (g/m²) | Rigidity / load | Suggested use |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2–3 mm | 300–600 | Light, flexible | Printed signage, light liners, thin dividers |
| 4–5 mm | 600–1000 | Medium | Partitions, light boxes, floor liners |
| 6–8 mm | 1000–1500 | Rigid, load-bearing | Pallet boxes, load-bearing walls, site protection |
| 10 mm | 1500–2000 | Very rigid | Heavy-load liners, impact-resistant structures |
ComparisonDanpla Sheet vs Paper Carton & Solid Plastic
Danpla sheet sits between paper carton (cheap, single-use) and solid plastic sheet (rigid, heavy, expensive) — a strong balance of durability, weight and cost for most packaging and technical-divider needs:
| Criteria | Danpla (hollow PP) | Paper carton | Solid plastic |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weight | Light | Light | Heavy |
| Water & moisture resistance | Good | Poor | Good |
| Load / rigidity | Good (fluted structure) | Medium | High |
| Reusability | Hundreds of cycles | Single use | High |
| Cost | Low–medium | Lowest | High |
| Printability | Good | Good | Medium |
| Best for | Reusable packaging, dividers, signage | Single-use packaging | Rigid technical sheets |
ApplicationsHow Is Danpla Sheet Used?
Thanks to its durable, lightweight, waterproof properties, Danpla sheet is used across many industries — from pallet liners and technical dividers to printed advertising boards and protective sheeting on site:

FAQKey Questions Before Ordering
What thicknesses and widths are available?
SAM produces sheets 2–10mm thick, max 1200mm wide, with length cut to your order requirements.
Can you produce custom colors and dimensions?
Yes — beyond 20+ standard colors, SAM accepts custom color, size and weight specifications.
Is an ESD anti-static version available?
Yes — ESD anti-static sheets are available for electronics and sensitive component storage.
How does Danpla sheet compare to paper carton?
Danpla is stronger, waterproof, load-bearing and reusable for hundreds of cycles, whereas paper carton tears easily, absorbs moisture and is usually single-use. Over time, Danpla lowers packaging cost and is more eco-friendly.
Can Danpla sheet be used outdoors?
Yes. SAM offers a UV-resistant option that keeps the sheet colour-fast and prevents brittleness outdoors — ideal for signage and on-site protection boards.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
MOQ is flexible by spec; standard lead time is 5–10 working days depending on quantity and requirements. Domestic delivery within Vietnam: 3–5 working days after dispatch; international: depends on shipping method.
Which thickness should I choose for my application?
2–3mm suits printed signage and light liners; 4–5mm for partitions and light boxes; 6–8mm for pallet boxes and load-bearing sheets; 10mm for heavy loads. See the "Thickness & weight" guide above, or send your requirement for precise advice.
Can Danpla sheet be printed with images and logos?
Yes. The Danpla surface takes offset, silk-screen or UV printing with lasting colour — ideal for signage, standees and POP/POS displays; logos, QR codes and barcodes for identification and traceability are also supported.
Can SAM supply Danpla sheet in large export volumes?
Yes. With ~150 tonnes of raw material/month capacity and SGS certification, SAM supplies large volumes of compliant Danpla sheet for Japan, USA, Australia and the EU on recurring delivery schedules.
